Flash Memory Controller IP
Databahn Flash controllers are the optimal solution for NAND and OneNAND Flash systems. The architecture is fully configurable to address a wide range of requirements for silicon area, performance, data integrity, and device compatibililty. Databahn Flash controller products leverage the same silicon proven IP configuration infrastructure as the Databahn DDR controllers. Databahn Flash controllers are also optimized for use with Denali's Spectra™ Flash management software.

- 32-bit AHB port with elastic buffering between clock domains
- 40-bit address bus to SoC
- Command layer abstraction (protocol address mapping) to simply drivers/firmware

OneNAND Optimization
Silicon proven Databahn controller IP is now available for Samsung OneNAND flash technology. Peak performance is achieved by leveraging a number of OneNAND features such as 'double buffering' and 'data ready'. Block read and cache read commands are automatically handled by the controller through the pipelined read-ahead register.
