| Corporate Applications Engineer - Sunnyvale, CA |
Responsible for post-sales technical support of Denali Software's Verification IP. Duties will include direct support resolving customer questions and issues involving PureSpec product. These questions may involve usage of PureSpec within various design and verification environments and understanding of various protocol specifications. Must have a strong background in verification and verification methodologies, very strong problem solving skills and written and verbal communication skills.
Corporate Applications Engineers are expected to manage multiple customer issues concurrently. Must understand multiple HDL methodologies with emphasis placed on the verification process. They need to be able to clearly articulate how Denali product offerings fit into those methodologies. Corporate Applications Engineers works with product engineers to resolve customer issues and they proactively manage customer accounts to success. Corporate Applications Engineers are also expected to play a leading role in account management and delivering the solutions to customer problems by bringing their technical understanding of the customer needs and issues.
Requirements:
- BSEE or equivalent required with 2+ years of relevant experience
- Strong Verilog Skills
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills
- Strong interest and understanding of design methodologies
- Ability to multiplex many issues, champion & set priorities in the best interest of the customer
- UNIX shell scripting
- Strong problem solving skills
Strong Plus:
- Working knowledge of VHDL, Specman, Vera, System C
- Knowledge of protocols such as PCI-E, USB, 10 Gig
- Previous experience in direct customer support
- Knowledge of memory interfaces and design issues
- MSEE
