| SOMA Corporate Applications Engineer - Sunnyvale, CA |
Responsible for the technical support and resolution of customer issues for
company's design and verification products. Work with end users to recreate
customer scenarios in-house to verify reported problems. Collaborate with
engineering and sales departments to resolve customer issues in a timely
manner. Develop and maintain database of SOMA (Specification of Memory
Architecture) models on web. Continous re-evaluation and quality check of
SOMA database. Build tools to automate development and checking of SOMA.
Manage customer expectations for SOMA delivery. Guide customers on usage of
SOMA models in their design and verification environments. Working
knowledge of Verilog or VHDL plus knowledge of C, C++ or Perl.
Requires a Bachelor's Degree or foreign degree equivalent in Electrical
Engineering, Computer Science, or related field plus 2 years of progressive
professional experience as a software engineer, electrical engineer or
related occupation.
