Dr. Muzibul Khan is vice president of product management and engineering for the wireless terminals division of Samsung Telecommunications America. As Samsung's lead engineer and product planner, Dr. Khan works closely with carriers and technology partners to define and develop innovative handsets with intuitive features that complement carriers' service offerings and are easy for consumers to use.

Before joining Samsung, Dr. Khan was with Lucent Technologies/Philips Consumer Communications for six years. He served as technical manager responsible for Systems Engineering, Standards and Regulatory Compliance for wireless terminals and infrastructure products. Prior to this position, Dr. Khan was an associate professor of electrical engineering at Lakehead University, Canada.

Dr. Khan obtained his doctorate degree from Concordia University in Adaptive Error Control Coding for Satellite communications. He has authored more than 30 technical publications and received two patents with several patents pending. Dr. Khan received his bachelor's and master's degrees from the Electrical Communications Institute, St. Petersburg, Russia.
