Mian Quddus is Director of Technology Enabling at Samsung Semiconductor. He has worked in the memory business since 1976. Mr. Quddus began his career as a 1K DRAM Test Engineer at American Micro Systems. He later held various managerial positions at Mitsubishi and Hitachi. He joined Samsung in 1997 as a strategic marketing manager and has spent the last 10 years in Samsung's technical marketing group for its memory division.

For the past 16 years, Mr. Quddus also has represented Samsung in the JEDEC standards organization. Currently, he is Chairman of the JEDEC Board of Directors and Chairman of JEDEC's Memory Modules Committee.
