John Vaglica is a senior architect in Freescale Semiconductor's Cellular Division. He is a 25 year veteran of embedded processor design including the 68HC11, 68300, MPC500 and MCORE processor families. Most recently, he led the architectural definition of the award-winning Mobile Extreme Convergence (MXC) Cellular Modem Processor family. He holds both Bachelor and Master degrees in Electrical Engineering with a focus on Computer Architecture and has been granted 14 US patents.
