Fred Ware is a Technical Director at Rambus Inc., one of the world's premier technology licensing companies specializing in the invention and design of high-speed chip interfaces. Fred joined Rambus in 1990 to focus on the design of high performance memory components and controllers. He is a recognized inventor and co-inventor of more than 100 issued and pending patents that support the revolutionary Rambus memory architecture. Prior to joining Rambus Fred worked at Hewlett-Packard and Weitek Corporation on integrated processing components that included microprocessors, numeric co-processors, graphics processors, and embedded control processors.

Fred Ware received a B.S. degree in Applied Physics with honors from the California Institute of Technology, and an M.S. degree in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from the University of California at Berkeley.
