Lou Covey has taken on the job of being among the key people making sure the SF Bay wetlands are being put to the best use. While most people view the concept of sustainability through the prism of global environmental limits (i.e., global warming), Lou's approach is broader and more innovative. He formed Citizens for a Sustainable Redwood City that addressed sustainability at the local community level from the perspective of economic, environmental and social well-being.
